Founded and blessed by her Holiness Satguru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Amrita International Vidyalayam stands as the pioneer International school.

Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi

Our esteemed Chairperson, the globally acclaimed humanitarian figure, Her Holiness Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, affectionately referred to as AMMA or The Hugging Saint, advocates for an educational framework that fosters the comprehensive development of children—physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. She emphasizes the importance of exposing them to India’s rich and ancient cultural heritage while nurturing an awareness of their innate potential.

Our Principal

Ms. Ipsa Mohanty

Ms. Ipsa Mohanty has been a school leader and academician with more than 15 years of experience. She is trained by the prestigious Harvard University to lead schools. She is an IB Programme Leader. She visits the IB schools in the entire Asia Pacific region to evaluate them for IB program standards and practices. She has an expertise in building school culture, curriculum development, teacher empowerment, and parent partnership. She is a Certified Career Counselor and ensures that the students in her school are placed in their best-fit universities after the completion of their course. Including a personalized career mentorship program in the school is something she is focused on. She believes in academic excellence and has produced excellent results by guiding her team of teachers in her previous assignments. She resonates with the school’s vision that every child has the potential to become a winner and encourages differentiation and inquiry-driven teaching and learning. She is a published author. She is determined to support parents, students, and teachers and take Amrita International Vidyalayam to positive heights.
