Introduction to ICSE

The Indian Certi icate of Secondary Education (ICSE) is an

examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School
Certi icate Examination, a private board of secondary education
in India. The Council for the Indian Certi icate Examination was

set up as an alternative to the overseas Cambridge School
Certi icate Examination. The Council is committed to serving the
nation's children, through high quality educational endeavours,

empowering them to contribute towards a humane, just and
pluralistic society, promoting introspective living, by creating
exciting learning opportunities, with a commitment for

excellence.
